The induced draft fan is a fan  which generates negative pressure through the rotation of the impeller, and then extracts air from the equipment. Normally, install it at the end of the boilers in order to extract hot flue gas in the furnace. In daily life, Usually divide the fans into induced draft fans and blowers according to the positive and negative pressure usage.

Induced draft fans are widely used in factories or manufacturers plant, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, ships and buildings for ventilation, dust removal and cooling; boilers and industrial furnaces and kilns for ventilation and induced air; air conditioning equipment and household appliances  for cooling and Ventilation; drying and delivery of grain; inflation and propulsion of wind tunnel wind source and hovercraft.

The working principle of the induced draft fan is almost same as  the turbo compressor, except for the air flow rate. The induced draft fan is much lower than turbo compressor. But, the pressure between them have a little difference.

Performance characteristics:

As for the hardness of the composite ceramic layer on the working surface of the induced draft fan impeller is HRA≥86, the secondary sintered silicon nitride toughened ceramics or zirconia toughened alumina ceramics can be used up to HRA94 or higher in local severely worn parts. Its particle erosion and wear resistance is at least 5 times higher than that of conventional tungsten carbide surfacing, spray welding and alloy powder lump welding, and more than 100 times higher than the base 16Mn steel; the thickness of the 1.5 mm ceramic sheet actually can be  used for five years, and the average wear is less than 0.2 mm.
